About leicesterlandlords.com

The private rented sector is one of the worst 'organized' industries in the country. Most of what is left of it is left to small part time landlords, many of which don't belong to an organization. Currently there are in the region of 45 local associations in Britain, mostly depending on the hard work of the dedicated members.

Local landlords founded the Leicester Landlords Association in 2000, becoming one of only a few in the Midlands. Since then we have members from Nottingham to London all with one thing in common, properties in Leicester and the opportunity to meet together to discuss experiences, exchange information, identify problems and decide how to deal with them.

Landlords can benefit from the excellent relationships the association enjoys with local authorities and universities. They can also benefit from links to the National Federation of Residential Landlords (NFRL) which gives them information and a voice with other regional members.

The association currently receives excellent rates of building and contents insurance from Alan Boswell, which provide discounted rates for members. A national help line is provided for landlords to contact to discuss any problems that have arisen.

Being a landlord which is a member of a recognised association has unlimited benefits not only are you at the forefront of what is happening in the private sector you and your property(s) will be given recognition with authorities such as universities as you already come under a code of conduct as well as falling into theirs. This helps to provide better accommodation to the public and the reputation of private landlords.

A better deal for landlords.
